ASHLEY’S PATE

There’s nothing better than sitting down with a glass of wine and a crusty baguette spread with Ashley‘s mouth-watering chicken liver pate, best served chilled. Ashley’s family are from Toulouse in the South of France and she grew up watching her grand-mere and maman (mum) making pate, a French tradition. She loved eating pate spread on hot toast for breakfast and on occasion had pate sandwiches with cornichons (small French pickle) in her school lunchbox, which raised many an eyebrow! Ashley’s pate is a handcrafted recipe with hours of care put into perfecting it. With a dash of sherry, Muscat and Grand Marnier liqueur added (historically for good health), it has depth of flavour and a silky-smooth texture. A popular staple for many market goers!
