ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICERS WILL DO INSPECTION THIS SATURDAY 9TH MARCH AT MCFM
Environmental health officers from city of Nedlands have scheduled another inspection at the Mt Claremont Farmers Market this Saturday 9th March 2024.
Please make sure the following:
1. All marquees need to be secured with proper anchor weights.
2. All food businesses have a hard or soft copy of their food permit. If you are not there, please make sure your staff have it and show it to the council.
3. All food businesses which have some issues with labels or food handling informed by the council, you must fix the issues immediately. If you can’t fix them yet by this Saturday, we would suggest you to contact the council /health officers to ask for the time extension in advance and explain the reasons. Don’t let them find out when they are there.
4. If you are using power, make sure that the cords are covered properly and not exposed or become a hazard.
NICE WEATHER IS FORECASTED FOR THIS SATURDAY:
- Cool & sunny weather in the morning
- Light wind with gust up to 30km/h so make sure you have weights for your marquees

Please make sure all signature and shop equipment or products are placed within designated area. You will need to have valid public liability insurance to cover any risks caused by you and your staff at the market.
All electrical equipment must be tested and tagged.
Anchor weights must be used to secure your marque(s) for windy days , especially when wind speed is forecasted more than 20 km or more.
If you see anything unsafe to customers or yourself at the market, please speak up. Thank you for your cooperation.
