TEST AND TAG ALL ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT USED AT MT CLAREMONT FARMERS MARKET
BE SAFE, DON’T BE SORRY.
All electrical items used in the market must be tested and tagged in accordance with Government standards. A heavy penalty will incur if you don’t comply and if your equipment causes danger.
Therefore, to make sure the market is operated safely, we are scheduling a test and tag service for your electric equipment possibly on 24th Aug and/or 31st Aug subject to service provider’s availability and number of items needed the service.
From this week and next week, Lorna will collect information from stallholders who have equipment and are interested in the service. We will confirm again if the tag and test service will happen after next week after collecting all information.
If you don’t do the service at the market, that is no problem, as long as you could show us the equipment has been tested and tagged with valid expiry date. You can find your own test and tag service around Perth, or you can bring your equipment to this company’s office who has done this service for us in the past few year as their below address:

Please make sure all signature and shop equipment or products are placed within designated area. You will need to have valid public liability insurance to cover any risks caused by you and your staff at the market.
All electrical equipment must be tested and tagged.
Anchor weights must be used to secure your marquee(s) every week.
