ATTENTION: WEATHER FORECAST  FOR THIS SATURDAY : VERY WINDY & RAIN EARLY MORNING => YOU MUST BRING YOUR ANCHOR WEIGHTS

This Saturday is forecasted with very strong strong up to 45km per hour, and gust could be 54 km per hour during the market time according to BOM. We request everyone to bring anchor weights to secure the tents – NO EXCUSE. Please make sure your goods are displayed safely. We suggest you to monitor  the weather carefully, not try to hang around near the big trees. We will keep working with you but please be advised,  the winds are too strong, and we feel it might be too risky for you and patrons,  we might need to close the market early. At this point of time, the weather forecast looks positive. Hopefully the wind will ease a bit on Saturday.

Be prepared with warm clothes also as it might be cold.

TEST AND TAG SERVICE  HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO  7TH SEPT 2024 DUE TO WEATHER.

ALL ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT  USED AT MT CLAREMONT FARMERS MARKET MUST BE TAGGED AND TESTED.

All electrical items used at Mt Claremont Farmers’ Market must be tested and tagged in accordance with Government standards. A heavy penalty will incur if you don’t comply and if your equipment causes danger.

Therefore, to make sure the market is operated safely, we are scheduling a test and tag service for your electric equipment ONLY on 7th September  subject to weather and final number of equipments will be tagged. The cost will be $10 for each piece of equipment, the market will cover the gap in case not enough equipment.

This week, Lorna will collect information from stallholders who have equipment that need the service. If you are not attending next weekend, but need the service, you can arrange with Lorna to see if you can leave the equipment somewhere accessible and also give her the money ready that she could arrange that with the test and tag person.

If you don’t do the service at the market, that is no problem, as long as you could show us the equipment has been tested and tagged with valid expiry date. You can find your own test and tag service around Perth, or you can bring your equipment to this company’s office who has done this service for us in the past few year as their below address:

Perth Testing and Tagging

Unit 6 – 15 Dellamarta Road Wangara

Perth WA
