ANCHOR WEIGHTS ARE NOW COMPULSORY EVERY WEEK.
Requested by City of Nedlands environmental health officers, as a condition to trade, Mt Claremont Farmers Market now must make sure all stallholders have proper anchor weights for their marquees EVERY WEEK. The anchor weights must meet specifications of marquee producers.
As such, you will need to bring YOUR OWN anchor weights every week. Lorna will start recording those who violate this. You can be reminded the first time, For the second time, it will be a warning. Please support us by comply on this matter to meet the council’s requirements and to make the market a safe place to trade.

Please make sure all signature and shop equipment or products are placed within designated area. You will need to have valid public liability insurance to cover any risks caused by you and your staff at the market.
All electrical equipment must be tested and tagged.
Anchor weights must be used to secure your marque(s) for windy days , especially when wind speed is forecasted more than 20 km or more.
If you see anything unsafe to customers or yourself at the market, please speak up. Thank you for your cooperation.
