ALL ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT  USED AT MT CLAREMONT FARMERS MARKET MUST BE TAGGED AND TESTED.

All electrical items used at Mt Claremont Farmers’ Market must be tested and tagged in accordance with Government standards. A heavy penalty will incur if you don’t comply and if your equipment causes danger.

Therefore, to make sure the market is operated safely, we are scheduling a test and tag service for your electric equipment ONLY on 7th September  subject to weather and final number of equipments will be tagged. The cost will be $10 for each piece of equipment, the market will cover the gap in case not enough equipment.

This week, Lorna will collect information from stallholders who have equipment that need the service. If you are not attending next weekend, but need the service, you can arrange with Lorna to see if you can leave the equipment somewhere accessible and also give her the money ready that she could arrange that with the test and tag person.

If you don’t do the service at the market, that is no problem, as long as you could show us the equipment has been tested and tagged with valid expiry date. You can find your own test and tag service around Perth, or you can bring your equipment to this company’s office who has done this service for us in the past few year as their below address:

OUR PLAN FOR PERTH ROYAL SHOW COMING UP:  SATURDAY 21st – 28th SEPTEMBER 2024.

As most of every year, our school P&C operates parking on school grounds as an additional fundraise to Mount Claremont Primary School during Show week each year.

The 2024 Perth Royal Show will coincide with our Markets on Saturdays 21st  and 28th September. Our Market continues to operate as usual during this time.

Last  couple of years, we managed well by making sure we communicated early to our customers and also clearly during the show days. This year, we will continue to let customers know that:

  • Our market is open on Saturdays 21st and 23rd and 28th Sept when the show is on
  • Parking is strictly for Mt Claremont Farmers Market Customers ONLY until 11am.
  • We will put the sign up and make sure our parking volunteers to check with customers to ensure parking spaces are only for Farmers’ Market’s customers. We will have led sign to indicate that too.
  • We will distribute flyers to inform regular customers regarding parking availability on those Saturdays. And we will do some social media posts closer to the dates. Our parking attendants will strive to ensure Market patrons are well looked after.

The staff car park off Montgomery Avenue will be available for stallholders’ parking, as usual. We hope that the Market may receive wider exposure and additional patronage on these dates.

We also need your help to pack away and leave as soon as you finish to give the space for Royal Show parking.

REMINDER OF LATE CANCELLATION POLICY

Late cancellation fees will be applied if you fail to notify us prior than 10 am on Thursday of the trading week. Paid fees will be non-refundable, or we will issue invoices if you haven’t paid. We also won’t refund if you cant attend due to the weather. It is stallholders’ responsibility to check the weather forecast before booking.

Mt Claremont Farmers Market is dedicated to providing a completely safe environment for our staff, volunteers, stallholders, and customers.

Please ensure you report any Health and Safety issues to Lorna at 0411895101 or email fmmc.mcfm@gmail.com.

Please make sure all signature and shop equipment or products are placed within designated area. You will need to have valid public liability insurance to cover any risks caused by you and your staff at the market.

All electrical equipment must be tested and tagged.

Anchor weights must be used to secure your marquee(s) every week.
