CAR TAG DISPLAY
If you park your car at the stallholder carpark, please make sure you display your MCFM car tag on your window, especially when your car is blocking another cars so we could know who to contact. We just print more of these name tags so feel free please contact Lorna to get the tag for yourself.
FOOD SAFETY
As the weather is getting warmer, please be concerned about food safety at the market. The city of Nedlands regularly visits our market this time to ensure our stallholders are following food safety compliance. Please be vigilant, as always. Here’s a reminder of what will be assessed:
- Hand washing facilities within all stalls selling ready to eat food, potentially hazardous foods or providing tastings/samples to the public;
- Safe hygiene practices, including regular washing and drying of hands using liquid soap and
- disposable paper towels before and during food handling activities;
- Clean and sanitised surfaces and equipment which may come into contact with food;
- Packaging materials and food storage containers are food grade;
- Food items are protected from contamination and where required under temperature control (≤5oC or ≥60oC) using insulated containers capable of being cleaned and sanitised;
A food probe thermometer on hand for use where potentially hazardous foods required to be maintained under temperature control are present
Please ensure your Verification of Food Business Notification Certificate (permit) is available on request at your stall during operation at the Market.
